The "Bôrka" holiday house is situated in the picturesque valley between the Low Fatra and the Strážov Hills at the edge of the small village of Fačkov (536 m above sea level) in the middle of a peaceful, clean and virgin piece of mountainous land. The recreation house is designed for picturesque nature lovers, village tourists and horse riders in natural environment.

The house is equipped with 2 attic rooms with three beds + 1 extra bed each, and a common room with a fireplace, a TV set, SAT, and a HiFi-tower on the ground floor. The kitchen with complete equipment and a child seat, like a separate WC, a bidet, a shower and a hall, are designed for more persons. In the summer the visitors may use the garden seating capacity by the open fireplace, in the winter the ski depository, and there is also a bicycle shed for cyclists. The house also has its own parking place for two cars in a green piece of land with garden plants with the total area of 740 m2. The external typical sauna in the yard is operated throughout the year and heated with an electrical stove. The sauna is equipped with a cold water shower. In winter the sauna users can make use of snow in the yard or the shower with hot and cold water inside the Borka holiday house.

The accommodation capacity is 6 persons + 2 extra beds for adults or for children. The accommodation cycles in high season are 7 or 14 days long. Off-season accommodation for fewer than 7 nights is also possible. The object is new, built in the style of our grandparents, timber-framed. In winter gas central heating comfortably heats the whole house.

The village is situated in the picturesque surroundings of the village of Čičmany and Rajecká Lesná, popular for their natural beauties, cultural and sporting facilities.

The summer house was built in the years 1999-2000 of high-standard building materials with special attention to the comfort of the accommodated. The building is nicely furnished with massive wooden (spruce) furniture, a hot-air fireplace, as well as gas central heating and hot water heated in a gas boiler.
Smoking is prohibited in all spaces of the holiday house.
The building is equipped with fire extinguishers to be used in case of emergency.

You will spend a pleasant holiday in the house with your family any time of the year. Rajecká dolina is one of the nicest valleys in Slovakia and the starting point of trips to the surroundings full of attractive sights worth visiting. The house can be hired in one-week cycles beginning and ending on Saturdays, or for a longer period based on the week cycles. The building includes a safe and sufficiently large space for putting aside the skiing equipment. The house is accessible by car, which will also find a safe place to park.

CONNECTION:
There is a good connection from nearly all parts of the world to our capital city of Bratislava, or to the Schwechaty airport in Vienna. Direct bus and train connection is provided from Vienna to Bratislava and further to Žilina. You will get to our village from Žilina with the Žilina - Prievidza or the Žilina - Čičmany bus lines.

A garden with flowers is part of the house.

The modern kitchen with a gas stove, a coffee maker, a refrigerator, and all sorts of crockery and kitchen utensils, is designed for the guest to prepare their own meals there.

The common room is equipped with a fireplace, a color TV set, SAT, and a VIDEO and HI-FI tower.

In the attic there are two three-bed rooms with a mirror and chests for personal things.

The sitting corner in the attic is used for pleasant evening encounters over a glass of good red wine, offered by the house. The sofas may also be used for sleeping.

There is an open fireplace with more seating capacity and equipment for grilling, goulash cooking or sausage roasting over open fire. There is a plastic garden table with six chairs and a sunshade by the fireplace.

Mountain bike rent, children's pool, and other services included.

Sauna - open all-year-round, capacity 4 - 6 persons. A cold shower can be used by the sauna, except for the winter months. The countryside around the house is rich in the snow in winter.
